How it Works
The Aging Process

‘Life is a journey. Don’t let your wrinkles tell your story’ Aging is a part of life, and as the years pass, the less vibrant, refreshed and youthful the skin may begin to look. In youthful skin, there is an abundance of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid which give it volume, support and suppleness. As a part of the aging process, these natural support structures become less plentiful. The result is facial lines, wrinkles and skin laxity all of which rob the skin of its youthful, fresh appearance.

One of the best solution for erasing lines and folds is to replace lost structure with immediate volume. Filler works immediately so the results are instant. Once injected, Radiesse adds the volume and lift needed to diminish the signs of aging. What makes Radiesse truly unique is the ability of the product to act as a scaffold under the skin, providing structure and stimulating your own natural collagen to grow. The production of natural collagen continues for several months, which extends beyond the initial effect of Radiesse Volumizing Filler. Best of all, the natural results are clinically proven to last a year or more in many patients, which means more value from each treatment and long-lasting results.

Aging skin loses natural support structures that keep skin supple and youthful. As the years go by, collagen and elastin diminish within the skin, and this can result in wrinkles and creases.

RADIESSE: Life is a journey. Don’t let your wrinkles tell your story.

Are your wrinkles giving away your Age?

RADIESSE, is a volumizing filler, provides an instant lift, filling wrinkles and folds to help restore a more youthful look! AND it continues to work with your body, stimulating the natural production of collagen making the treatment results both immediate and long lasting.

img-1RADIESSE is comprised of Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in an aqueous gel carrier.

Once injected, it provides immediate volume and correction but continues to work by stimulating the body to produce its own natural collagen.

Over time, the gel is absorbed and the body metabolizes the CaHA microspheres leaving behind only your own natural collagen.

Why choose RADIESSE?
RADIESSE immediately replenishes lost volume and stimulates the production of your own natural collagen with results that can last a year or more in many patients.

What is Radiesse!
RADIESSE is a dermal filler that temporarily adds volume to help smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (the creases that extend from the corner of your nose to the corner of your mouth).

How does RADIESSE work?
Once injected, RADIESSE plumps the skin to give the appearance of a smoother surface. Over time, RADIESSE works to stimulate the body to produce collagen naturally.1 Ultimately the body absorbs the product and leaves behind the natural collagen for long-lasting results.

Where can RADIESSE be injected?
RADIESSE can be injected in the following locations*:

Smile lines: also called the nasolabial folds, are the lines that run from the corners of the nose to the corners of the mouth

Marionette lines: the lines that run downward from the corners of the mouth

Corners of the mouth: also called the oral commissure, if these are turned downward it can make you look as though you’re frowning

Pre-jowl fold: the area on either side of the chin, where skin can sag due to loss of facial volume

Chin wrinkles: horizontal lines that can form on your chin and distract from your smile

*RADIESSE is FDA-approved for correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds.

What makes RADIESSE different from other leading dermal fillers?

In addition, 30% less RADIESSE may be needed for correction when compared to Perlaneinjectable gel.

How is treatment with RADIESSE performed? Is it painful?
RADIESSE is injected under the skin in a quick procedure that can be done over the lunch hour. RADIESSE is also FDA-approved to mix with lidocaine (an anesthetic), which means the procedure will be much more comfortable. In fact, in a clinical study, 90% of patients treated reported significant pain reduction when injected with RADIESSE mixed with lidocaine.
